Notable Features
Hancock is a short man, barely 5'6", and not especially heavily built, although he does have some muscle on his skinny bones. He has rarely been seeing without his infamous black hat and coat, which over the years has been ripped, torn and heavily singed by the various encounters he finds himself in. Nonetheless, he always seems to turn up a few days later in a black hat and coat that look remarkably similar, dirty and well-worn but otherwise intact. Rumours abound that he has some sort of ability to repair clothing, but the more sensible guess he simply spares hidden away somewhere. Hancock has neither confirmed nor denied either theory.
Character History
Hancock's origins have always been a little uncertain; he's been recorded as an active member of the Camarilla in London since the early 16th Century, although several different documents referring to a Kindred of Hancock's physical description, but under the name Victor Pryde, could indicate that he used a false name at some point (or indeed, may still be using one to this very night...) and may well have been active as early as 1504. Not many people are aware of this information, and fewer still have really tried to follow up any potential leads concerning it; as a Ventrue member of the London Camarilla once said, "Hancock is very much a threat that exists in the here and now, rather than the past".
Those who are made aware of Hancock's age are often surprised that he is still only considered an Ancillae, but given the fact that he spent many years in Torpor in his first few centuries, often having been beaten into it, it goes some way to explaining his relative lack of potency compared to many of similar age. It is a well noted fact that Hancock seems to have escaped Final Death on so many occasions that he is often referred to as "The Cockroach" by some in London, although it's a title that can be used both as an insult and a term of respect, depending whom you ask.
Hancock has certainly learnt well from his early years; by the time he came to Carlisle, he was a seasoned veteran of many skirmishes with the Sabbat, and saw combat in a number of other violent incidents that have occured in London. Since arriving in Carlisle, he seems to have gotten even tougher, thriving in the chaotic environment the city offers and cheerfully throwing himself into the many dangers that lurk in Carlisle's dark streets.
Known Allies and Enemies
Voq - It's no secret that the Nosferatu are a Clan that sticks together, and that's certainly held true in the case of Voq and Hancock. As the newly-appointed Sheriff of Carlisle, and previously in his role as Scourge, Voq appreciates what Hancock represents; a weapon to be used against threats to the Camarilla. Rather than exploiting Hancock's skills however, the two share a mutual respect, and so far, whenever the two have gone into battle, nothing has been able to stand before them.
